Modified Practical Session for Lower Back Issues (Reformer)

Approximately 55 minutes demonstrating how the reformer can be taught to those with lower back issues. This workout will help you feel a little more confident in your programming. Some conditions prefer more flexion-biased exercises whilst others prefer extension biased exercises. Find out more by going to my online webinar.


This practical session takes a look at exercises that can be used for your clients with lower back pain. It works on from the key basic principles to pilates and uses modified pilates exercises that your client can do as part of their programme with you as a teacher or on their own as homework.

The exercises are all reformer-based allowing the apparatus to support the body throughout the practical session. You can also find a practical session with mat-based exercises that work hand in hand with this session. The mat-based exercises can be given to your client as homework.
