Integrating the Pilates Method: Common Knee Conditions
This webinar provides theory and practical information on many common knee conditions that may be presented to you in your class or studio.
This two and a half hour webinar provides both theory and practical information on many common knee conditions that may be presented to you in your class or studio.
The workshop includes a brief overview of the knee’s anatomy before delving into the most common knee conditions that you may come across; such as bursitis, chondromalacia patella and full knee replacement.
The workshop takes a look at presenting signs and symptoms to each of the conditions and what exercises to avoid. We take a closer look at exercises that may need to be modified, alongside exercises that can be programmed for your client or given to them as homework. If your client follows these exercises, they will no double benefit from this pilates-based approach to rehabilitation.
And an added bonus is that each webinar has notes that you can download too.
This workshop forms part of the Post Graduate Pilates Certificate: Integrating the Pilates Method for Long Term Medical Conditions.
